1. Order Processing Time

Once your order is successfully placed and payment is confirmed, it will enter our processing system for review, preparation, and dispatch.

Most orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Orders are generally processed Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and major holidays.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will typically begin processing on the next business day. During peak periods, including seasonal promotions, holiday sales, or other high-volume events, processing times may be slightly longer.

We always aim to prepare and ship orders as quickly as possible while maintaining accurate and careful fulfillment.

2. Shipping Fee

Shipping charges are determined at checkout based on several factors, including the destination address, the size of the package, and the shipping option chosen for the order.

Before completing a purchase, customers can view the full shipping cost during checkout. The applicable shipping fee will be clearly shown before the order is finalized.

Please note that shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return or shipping issue results from an error on the part of The Container Store, such as the shipment of an incorrect or defective item.

4. Shipping Methods

Orders are shipped using reliable carrier partners selected through our fulfillment network. Once your package has been dispatched, the carrier will handle transportation and final delivery.

5. International Shipping, Customs, Duties, and Taxes

The Container Store may ship to selected international destinations, depending on shipping partner availability and destination country regulations.

International shipments are sent on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis unless otherwise stated.

This means that any applicable:

  • customs duties
  • import taxes
  • VAT
  • customs clearance fees
  • other government-imposed charges are the responsibility of the customer.

These charges are determined by the destination country and are not included in the product price or shipping fee unless clearly stated otherwise.

Customs procedures may also cause delivery delays, and The Container Store is not responsible for delays resulting from customs processing. We recommend that customers review their country’s import requirements before placing an order.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number.

Please allow approximately 1–2 business days for tracking updates to appear after the shipping label has been created or the shipment confirmation has been sent.

Tracking information may include updates such as:

  • carrier acceptance
  • in-transit movement
  • arrival at local facilities
  • delivery confirmation

If your tracking details do not update immediately, please do not worry — your package may still be in transit. If you experience difficulty tracking your shipment, our support team is happy to help.

7. Shipping Delays

If an incorrect or incomplete address is submitted, this may result in shipping delays, failed delivery attempts, or returned packages. The Container Store cannot guarantee successful delivery when inaccurate shipping information is provided.

If you notice an error in your shipping address after placing an order, please contact us within 12 hours at service@containerstore.top.Address changes may only be possible before the order has entered processing or been dispatched.

If a package is returned due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment.

9. Order Modifications and Cancellations

We process orders quickly to ensure timely shipment.

If you need to cancel your order or request a change to your shipping details, please contact us within 12 hours of placing the order.

Once an order has entered the processing stage, we are no longer able to guarantee modifications or cancellations.

10. Lost, Missing, or Delivered-but-Not-Received Packages

Once a package has been shipped and handed over to the carrier, final delivery is managed by the shipping provider.

If tracking shows your package as delivered but you cannot locate it, we recommend that you:

  • check around your mailbox, porch, or delivery area
  • ask household members or neighbors whether they accepted the package
  • contact the carrier directly for more delivery information

If the package still cannot be found, please contact our support team and we will assist in reviewing the issue with the carrier.

If the carrier confirms that the package was lost in transit, The Container Store will send a replacement at no additional cost.

Please note that for packages marked as delivered by the carrier, resolution may depend on the outcome of the carrier’s investigation.

11. Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery and provide clear photos of:

  • the damaged item
  • the packaging
  • the shipping label

Please also include your order number so we can review the issue as quickly as possible.

Once the issue has been verified, we will arrange an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, partial refund, or full refund depending on the situation.

Our goal is to make sure every customer receives their order in proper condition.
